Wondering where to go in Chester?


This Countryside City has so much to offer.


1. Grosvenor Park is a Grade II* registered park located close to Chester City Centre.

 

2. The Meadows  is a patchwork of grassland and wetlands by the sides of Chester's River Dee in the heart of the city centre.


3. Sandy Lane Park is situated upon the banks of the River Dee, approx 2.5 miles east of Chester city centre and includes Sandy Lane Aqua Park for the kids.


4. Handbridge Park by the River Dee was originally a Roman quarry, with a shrine to the Roman goddess Minerva constructed in the early 2nd century.


5. Westminster Park is both a suburb to the west of Chester and a large park the area with a golf course, tennis, cafe and much more.


6. Roman Gardens is a paved walkway lined with grassy areas to view the City Walls and Roman remains leading to the Groves at the River Dee.
