Today may be Americas anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776.

Chester has more than its fair share of incredible dining establishments, so luckily for us, many of them are preparing to reawaken this weekend.

To celebrate today though we thought we would share with you what some of Chester’s smaller independent eateries are planning on doing from the 4th. These venues have had to adapt very quickly to continue offering Chester their amazing selection of foods and they have really shown why they are Chester’s finest.

  • Bean and Cole, Frodsham St (Vegan Sandwich n Coffee) – Takeout 10am till 5pm weekends only 
  • Brown Sugar, Handbridge (Breakfast n Cake) – Takeout 10am till 3pm
  • Chai Station, Brook St (Indian Vegie Street Food) – Deliveries only
  • Chef’s Table, Music Hall Passage (Char Sui Street Food) – Takeouts
  • Falafel Xpress, Watergate St (Middle East) – Takeouts
  • Flower Cup, Watergate St (Brunch n Coffee) – 10am till 4pm Mon to Sun (no bookings)
  • Hanky Pankys, Commonhall St (Pancakes) – 9 till 10.30am & 1.30pm till 9pm Wed to Sunday
  • Jeffro’s Wingz an Thingz, Chester Market (Caribbean) from 10th July 
  • Meltdown, Queens Park View (Ultimate Cheese Toasties) – Delivery and Collection
  • Nice Bites, Chester Market (Chester Street Food) – 12pm till 7.30pm
  • Panini Press, Grosvenor St (Lunch) – 11.30am till 3pm Mon-Thur and All day Fri/Sat
  • Pierogi, Brook St (Polish) – Deliveries or Takeout 12pm till 5pm
  • Steins, Chester Market – (Home Cooked Chester)
  • Stile Nepoletano, Chester market (Pizza) – 12pm – 3.30pm and 5pm till 7.30pm
