Our happy place is a lazy day at home, catching up with friends and family or exploring this beautiful country.
We may not go away often but when we do, it has to be calm, simple and with minimal tech.
Holidays are such a special time to be cherished, reconnect and switch off.
That's what we want our guests to feel too at Enjoy the Pause Holiday Home.
Once the children came along I sold my landscaping business and dedicated life to mummy chaos. We wanted to explore the UK with the children so they could appreciate our amazing country. We thought booking a holiday home was the perfect answer, but it wasn’t in 2012.
Trying to find a combination of clean, safe, comfortable, full of amenities, private outdoor space with a bit of luxury (that is also truly ‘child friendly’) was impossible, ahhhhh !!!
As we tried to holiday with 2 young children, I planned on creating that perfect holiday home combo dipping my toe in the water in 2016, running my first holiday home in Manchester and I loved it.
I found a new passion alongside mummy duties, I really buzzed from the amazing reviews, running a business again and the interaction with guests. When we moved to Chester I made my new business official and Pause UK Ltd was born. 'Enjoy the Pause' opened its doors in 2019 and I've not looked back.
